SplodgeAway Mask and Flitter Glu

Good Evening All,

This week seems to have flown over so quickly, I think I will update my blog weekly and if it happens to be updated more than once we have a miracle, lol. Tonight is a night off from the 'house that Jack built'. I am very grateful to have found a house to move into but I now know how Tom Hanks felt like when he moved into the 'Money Pit'. If we had bought the house I promise I would of knocked it down and started again. Yesterday McDonalds was our Sunday dinner, it was the first time we had seen the house in daylight and  as Tom went to scrape some paint off the wall and a huge chunk of plaster fell off and I was cleaning the side of the bath when the panel fell off. LOL.....it is coming along nicely though and will soon be a home which we are both very excited about :-)

Right onto crafting......I came into the shop late on Saturday as I have been really tired and when I arrived I decided to do some crafting. I have been itching to play with Toms SplodgeAway Poinsettia Mask but use it to make an everyday card. I started by inking 5 sets of flowers with my SplodgeAway Mat and Tattered Rose Ink. (Please excuse the poor light)

I cut the flowers out and using the IndigoBlu Swirly stamp and silver flitter flakes I stamped the silver pattern onto the flowers. I am now addicted to flitter flakes but I did make the mistake of breathing on them! lol.

I was really impressed with the results, I then shaped the flowers with my thumb and paintbrush, attached the flower layers together with glossy accents and finished them off with a gem.

I then arranged the flowers into a wreath, cut some foilage out of mirri card and finished of with a bow. The bows pink didn't match the card so I just inked over with some extra pink ink.

To make the background I inked a 8x8 scalloped card with pink distress ink and then cut a sheet of patterned paper which I glimmer misted.

Maria Simms will be in the shop this Saturday running 2 workshops and I have a few PM spaces if anybody would like a place. I have lots of new stock due in this week including:
SteamPunk charms at fab prices!
Buttons
Ribbons
New Creative Expressions coloured dazzlers
Cosmic Shimmers
Gems at amazing prices
Nestabilities and
LOADS more...
Before I leave, I am just wondering as I am hopeless on this....on the right hand side I have blogs I follow but I actually follow a lot more which show up on my dashboard when I sign in but not on my blog? Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Well, I suppose I had better go, we are off to a family party tomorrow so I have the shop and myself to organise.
