New Stock :-)

Good Evening All,
Hope you are all well. I can't believe its 20 past 10 and I have just sat down, the day has flew by. I have had a lovely day today, I had the morning off, usually it is spent sleeping but today I woke up and Tom had left me some money to buy a new coat. My old coat will only let me fasten 1 button depending on where the baby is lying so I woke up, had a lovely bath and woddled into town. I then went into the shop where Tom and Ric were working hard designing lots of new and exciting designs for the next SplodgeAway Show. So lots of fun and laughter, mainly at Toms expense!! Came home, finally took a look at my newly fitted carpet and wow it looks like I have a real front room!! I then dragged poor Tom to Tesco to buy a washer and 2 hours and a lot of money after came out with no washer but lots of Christmas presents and 2 Nerf guns...one for Tom and one for his friend .....my mind boggles.......I can't believe its only 9 weeks until Christmas, I am so excited, I can't wait for 2013 x
So I have finally finished taking the photos of the new stock so take a look. I apologise for the dark lighting of the charms and ribbon but I have taken them at home and the light is very dim.

My dog refused to move to take the photos so had to be bribed with marmite nuts!!
Top up of distress inks, tools and applicators. We are also waiting on delivery of the triple pack inks that are now being sold individually.

Lots of beautiful ribbon, much brighter in real life.
Top up of stickles that are flying out at the moment.

One of my favourite products ever.....Cosmic Shimmer

NEW IN..Coloured Crystal Dazzlers

So many new charms in starting off for as little as £1.00.....corners, Christmas, Steampunk, Clocks, Owls....loads

I also had a delivery of Pinflair glue today and the people who attended Annettes altered book class will be pleased to know the Bookbinding glue is now in. I also have on order lots of new Graphic 45 papers, IndigoBlu and I can't remember what else. I know I have pre-ordered the Spellbinders D-Lites and they should be in anytime after Thursday.

Just a quick reminder the shop will be closed all day on Thursday. This is a 'one off' and we will be open as usual on Friday. I also have a new member of staff starting soon which I am very excited about. I won't see who yet but she is a lovely lady and some of you may have met her in the shop before. She will be covering a day each week and then cover my maternity leave
. :-)

Right I am off to watch 'Lost' with Tom and eat oranges, tangerines and Rolo yoghurt,
Night Night and thank you for stopping by,

Maria Simms back at Suzicraft.

Good Evening All,

I thought I would update the blog whilst Tom is out and I'm making tea with some peace and quiet. I hope everybody is well this week and you have had a lovely weekend. This week has been a week of highs and lows but today yesterday was lovely. We had the great Maria Simms doing a workshop all day and the cards were beautiful. Each group went home with 2 Christmas cards. The class was called 'movers and shakers', and no don't worry it wasn't a fitness class :-) So let me share the photos with you:

First group this morning getting the first instructions x

Poor Kay being terrorised as usual from Tom!

Maria found the chocolates!!

Toms Dad was visiting from Scotland and called into the shop before going to lay my new carpet :-))

Not a great photo but this is the mask inked over with the SplodgeAway Mat.

Lots of creating!!

Thank you to everybody who attended the class, I hope you all had fun.

I have lots of new stock in which I will snap tonight and post the pictures tomorrow, includes charms, bling, ribbons, inks, sprays and so much more...

Please note we will be shut this Thursday (25th) all day, we will be open the rest of the week as usual.

We are also a step closer to moving into the house, Toms Dad and his wife were down this week and have done so much in the house this week so I have had some time off from it, THANK YOU to you both.

I am trying to re-arrange my blog and figure it out so if I have accidently deleted you from my blog list I will re-add you, I had to delete them all then add again. You will now find a link to all of the SplodgeAway Design Team so please take a look at the blogs for some great inspiration.

Night Night All,

SplodgeAway Mask and Flitter Glu

Good Evening All,

This week seems to have flown over so quickly, I think I will update my blog weekly and if it happens to be updated more than once we have a miracle, lol. Tonight is a night off from the 'house that Jack built'. I am very grateful to have found a house to move into but I now know how Tom Hanks felt like when he moved into the 'Money Pit'. If we had bought the house I promise I would of knocked it down and started again. Yesterday McDonalds was our Sunday dinner, it was the first time we had seen the house in daylight and  as Tom went to scrape some paint off the wall and a huge chunk of plaster fell off and I was cleaning the side of the bath when the panel fell off. LOL.....it is coming along nicely though and will soon be a home which we are both very excited about :-)

Right onto crafting......I came into the shop late on Saturday as I have been really tired and when I arrived I decided to do some crafting. I have been itching to play with Toms SplodgeAway Poinsettia Mask but use it to make an everyday card. I started by inking 5 sets of flowers with my SplodgeAway Mat and Tattered Rose Ink. (Please excuse the poor light)

I cut the flowers out and using the IndigoBlu Swirly stamp and silver flitter flakes I stamped the silver pattern onto the flowers. I am now addicted to flitter flakes but I did make the mistake of breathing on them! lol.

I was really impressed with the results, I then shaped the flowers with my thumb and paintbrush, attached the flower layers together with glossy accents and finished them off with a gem.

I then arranged the flowers into a wreath, cut some foilage out of mirri card and finished of with a bow. The bows pink didn't match the card so I just inked over with some extra pink ink.

To make the background I inked a 8x8 scalloped card with pink distress ink and then cut a sheet of patterned paper which I glimmer misted.

Maria Simms will be in the shop this Saturday running 2 workshops and I have a few PM spaces if anybody would like a place. I have lots of new stock due in this week including:
SteamPunk charms at fab prices!
Buttons
Ribbons
New Creative Expressions coloured dazzlers
Cosmic Shimmers
Gems at amazing prices
Nestabilities and
LOADS more...
Before I leave, I am just wondering as I am hopeless on this....on the right hand side I have blogs I follow but I actually follow a lot more which show up on my dashboard when I sign in but not on my blog? Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Well, I suppose I had better go, we are off to a family party tomorrow so I have the shop and myself to organise.
